***Highland Hideaway Hunting would like to announce the following changes for the 2009/2010 Season Season****
  • Due to current economic conditions our Half day hunting rates will not be increasing for the 2009/2010 season.  We will also be lowering the price of our full day hunting rate to $215.00.
  • We will no longer be able to include lunch in the cost of a Half Day or Full Day hunt. Ron's famous cooking will still be available at the rate of $7.00 per plate.
  • Additional birds harvested or "extra birds" will increase to $20.00 per pheasant & $10.00 per chukar.
  • Lodging will be offered at $60.00 per person. (Effective 4/1/2009)
  • Guide Fees will be $100 for a half day & $180 for a full day. This is a great value for our professional upland guides & top of the line dogs.
  • We are now offering special group rates for groups of 8 or more.  Please contact us so that we can put this together for you.  This offer is good for any day hunts with any combination of lodging, meals, and multiple days of hunting.
  • We will be posting internet specials on the web, if you call or e-mail while that special is up you will qualify for that deal.  This only applies while the special is listed on the web, if you see it and then wait to call it may be gone or a new special may be offered.
***Highland Hideaway Hunting Spring and Summer leagues will be changing this year...****

  • We will shoot on the first and last Thursday and Sunday of each month. These dates will be posted on the web site so that you know which days we will be open to shoot.
  • The First Thursday of each month we will be having an all you can eat fish fry available for all the shooters. Come shoot and enjoy a meal with your buddies.
  • During these times League members can shoot there league and the course will also be open to the public.
  • We will run two leagues, a sporting clay league and 5-stand league. You can shoot in both if you would like.
  • You can shoot on either Thursday or Sunday for your weeks score. You must shoot during the scheduled hours for league scores. If you miss a week you will be given a zero for that weeks score.
  • The first league starts on April 26 and ends on June 7th.
  • The second round of league starts on June 25 and ends on Aug. 6.
  • League pricing is all follows:  
            $15 sign up fee As a league member your shooting is discounted to the following:
            5-stand-$5 (normal pricing is $7) 
            Sporting clays 50 $19 (normal is $20)
            Sporting Clays 100 $28 (normal is $30)
  • The cost above includes any league and fun shooting. So if have already shot your weeks score, any shooting after that is also discounted.
  • We will be having an end of the year dinner for all of those who participate in leagues, families are invited with an additional cost of $10 a plate. This dinner will be held on Aug. 7th at 6:30PM.
  • The last day for open shooting will be Sept. 24. The nice thing about this years change is the course will be opening sooner and will be staying open longer.
  • Shooting hours are as follows: Thursdays 4:30-9:00 Sundays 10:00-3:00 Group outings and special events can still be scheduled on days other than normal shooting hours.
  • For these types of events we ask for a minimum of $200 of shooting or a 10 person group.
